Focus and Scope
The Revista Produção Online is an electronic journal, directed to the scientific community of Production Engineering and related areas (Administration, Accounting, Economics, among others). The mission of the Journal is to disseminate and spread knowledge, expanding and promoting the debate on relevant topics for the scientific community and Brazilian and Latin American society. The Journal is published quarterly. Papers published must display relevant scientific contribution in one of the following areas:
- Production and Operations Management
- Environmental Management and Social Responsibility
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Operational Research
- Product Engineering
- Human Factors, Work Ergonomics and Safety
- Strategy and Organizations
- Economic Management
- Quality
- Information technology
- Educational and Pedagogical Aspects of Production Engineering
Submissions must be original and therefore cannot have been published or submitted elsewhere. The paper should effectively represent a contribution to the field, the theoretical foundation must reflect the state of the art in the area, the scientific method should be highlighted and carefully applied. Furthermore, analysis and conclusions should be clear and aligned with the proposed objective. The Revista Produção Online publishes papers in Portuguese, Spanish or English. This possibility allows the Journal to reach the communities in Brazil, Latin America as well as the International community of Industrial/Production Engineering.
