Abstract

This article presents an analysis of topics related to logistics management in organizations. The study aims to identify important themes within the topic and establish a research agenda. Using a bibliometric approach, the analysis comprised the co-occurrence of keywords and bibliographic coupling to assess the academic evolution of the field by analyzing 466 publications. The Web Of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases were used. The analysis was carried out using the Bibliometrix tool, through biblioshiny, using the R software. The results suggest that topics such as sustainability, big data analysis and technology are emerging, particularly in the last decade, and show a tendency to become the dominant themes in the coming years, as well as aspects linked to psychological management in organizations. We conclude by highlighting the growing importance of thematic clusters related to supply chain management, innovation, risk management and humanitarian logistics. Finally, with the main recent themes in mind, a research agenda is proposed. The results contribute to academia and professionals by helping to understand the state of the art on the subject of logistics management in organizations.
