Operations management in the last decade
a literature review

The general objective of this article is to analyze the academic production in operations management in the last decade, starting from Bourdieu's definition of the scientific field, and based on the problematization that the entry into the 21st century has imposed new challenges for the practice and research of operations management. To achieve it, a quantitative-qualitative approach was used through a bibliographic study of a corpus of 16 literature review articles in the area, and a bibliometric of 913 articles produced from 2011 to 2021. It was possible to visualize that the The field of GO has remained virtually unchanged over the last decade, with the same difficulty in communicating research with practice, the dominance of US researchers, but new concerns have emerged, such as the lack of use of theories and problems regarding the validity of findings.
