Despite the advantages of the Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM), there are barriers that hinder the adoption of its practices by companies. This article aims, through a Systematic Bibliographic Review (SBR) and two case studies, to better understand the practices of the GSCM and recognize the main barriers imposed on two companies (manufacturer-supplier) in the electronics sector. 25 practices and 72 barriers to the implementation of the GSCM were identified in the literature. From the case studies, it is inferred that focus company A is more developed in terms of GSCM and environmental sustainability than its evaluated supplier, due to the greater implementation of GSCM practices. As for practices, in Company A, most of the practices are fully implemented (19 of them), 6 of which are partially implemented and none are not implemented; and in the Supplier, most are partially implemented, only 1 is fully implemented and 7 are not implemented. The supplier's interviewee was unable to comment on various practices and barriers. Regarding the categories of barriers, company A faces more barriers of 'stakeholders' (12 barriers), while Supplier faces more barriers of 'knowledge' (8) and 'management' (6).
