Performance evaluation of healthcare suppliers
a proposal for an integrated structure using Fuzzy TOPSIS Class and Kraljic matrix

Evaluation suppliers and supporting their continuous improvement are crucial for managing supply chain performance. To overcome any flaws in the alignment between the institution and suppliers, this article aimed to present a scheme that combines the Fuzzy TOPSIS Class model to evaluate and categorize suppliers into 3 groups and the Kraljic matrix used to assist in the classification of inputs in order to support the deciding which supplier relationship criteria are most critical. The gap created for this research is the need to propose criteria and techniques for evaluating the performance of suppliers of medical hospital materials, considered critical inputs for the hospital sector. The results showed that although the presented technique is of great use to the supply chain managers when evaluating their suppliers of inputs considered critical, the non-compensatory nature of the criteria restricts the categorization of alternatives.
