Abstract

Business process management (BPM) is an instrument that assists in monitoring the performance of organizations, promoting a systemic view of the internal and external environment of the organization, with respect to all participants and processes, as well as their interrelationships. The objective of this work is to evaluate the relationship and influence between the central elements to the BPM practices and the performance of the companies, considering information from companies located in the Pernambuco’s Textile Local Productive Arrangement (APL), given their relevance within the international, national and regional economy. The proposed hypotheses regarding the relationship between the processes were tested using the partial least squares method, using the SmartPLS 3.0 software. As a conclusion, we highlight the proposition and confirmation of relationships, among others, to strategic alignment and governance, as well as governance and the use of information technology, and the use of information technology and organizational culture.
