The literature refers to the extension of the environmentally correct management along supply chain as Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM). This study aimed to carry out two systematic literature review in order to i) determine what studies involving the pressures that lead to the adoption of GSCM practices; and ii) identify which are the articles that discuss the performance achieved with the adoption of these practices. The results indicated that few studies really address these relationships separately (practices/pressures and practices/performances), still more reduced is the amount of research that address the two relationships together. Furthermore, we detect that studies on these two topics are recent, with the majority published from 2011. It was also the GSCM practices most cited in the articles analyzed were: Internal Environmental Management, Green Purchasing, Cooperation with Customers, Eco-design and Investment Recovery. The most cited pressures are related to internal and external factors of the company (mainly Regulation, Market Competition, Suppliers and Society). Finally, the performances related to the GSCM practices most studied were: Environmental, Economic and Operational. We traced, thus, five resulting propositions of the research, which were illustrated in a conceptual theoretical model.Downloads
