Abstract

This paper presents a model for assessing the strategic potential of Research & Development (R&D) projects in technological innovation applied to Program of Technology Innovation Centers of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil Through a bibliographical study, were analyzed models of selection and prioritization of projects, the Critical Success Factor (CSF), guidelines of the Program and treatment methods and data processing. We propose a platform for acquisition, processing and data output, together with a set of indicators to establish a strategic score that allows the selection and ranking of projects. The model proposed in addition to select and rank projects in R &D facilitates the evaluation of strengths and weaknesses of the analyzed projects.
