Strategic erp selection using multicriteria decision making

In a growing market that represents more than 21 billion dollars in world’s economy, the Enterprise Resource Planning systems are becoming indispensable for companies of all sizes. Therefore, the companies need to adapt themselves to the market and choose the most adequate system to fit their needs in order to maximize the benefits and minimize the required investments concerning the systems. This paper utilizes Multicriteria Decision Analysis through the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to build a decision model for an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) choice. The model take into account 16 criteria, which are based on the literature review adapted for the needs of the company needs. The systems which were evaluated are provided by three companies that dominate the world market of ERP suppliers.Downloads
