Abstract

The form as the work is organized currently is result of a process of mutations that has as requirements more flexible companies. To this, the companies had reorganized themselves more intensely and the spread out “model” of the productive reorganization is the flexible production, had as an efficient productive process for the recovery of the accumulation levels and requirements of the market. This model of management allowed the capital to manage the work force in more flexible way, what caused a certain degree of intensification to the workers, who are part of this system. The discussion of this “model” raised great debates on how much this technique would breach significantly with a unhealthy and parcelized task. Thus, the present paper points to the fact of that the process of flexible production, brings with it deep and, almost always, unexpected changes in the universe of the work, being able to affect in significant way the worker’s health. Key-words: lean production, worker’s health and job intensification
